Rapunzel, Rapunzel...

We had a wonderfully busy weekend! There were SO many fun things going on, I wish we could have done it all! I hated to miss some fun parties, but here is what we managed to make the most of:

Friday

5:30 pm- We met our friends Bryce and Emily at the tower located at the intersection of Old Missouri and Old Wire to host the party we won at the American Diabetes Association's "Kiss a Pig" gala. This was SO much fun! The Springdale Liquor Association provided too much beer and wine and A Fare to Remember provided an adorably tasty snack spread. We were happy our friends could make it even though it clashed with Redneck Tailgate!

6:30 pm- I get the courage to climb to the top of the tower... what an unbelievable view!?

7:00 pm- I accidentally knock a glass of red wine out of my own hand and it explodes off the floor on an innocent bystander's face... I met her 5 minutes prior... Party foul... big time! She looked like a CSI crime scene, it was really embarrassing and horrible.

8:00 pm- Guests start making their way out to get to dinner reservations and other soirees... except for a few of us:) The rest of us begin cleaning up, starting with the unopened beer and wine...

9:00 pm- We see Spencer in a very "senior picture"-like pose and this inspires us to have all our senior pictures taken using the ladder as a prop...

10:00 pm- We make our way down the winding stairs. There was one casualty that will remain nameless, but I hope this person's shins are still in tact after nailing the metal stairs.

10:15 pm- We arrive at Justin's party to see Coy's parents, his sister Julie and all her great friends from Hendrix and Wynne who we have become friends with... they are SO fun! We love that Matt and Julie moved here and have included us with their friends:) We begin to turn into popsicles because it is SO cold outside!

12:00 am- We head home to thaw out! I get in a scalding hot bath to try to warm up...

Saturday

8:30 am- I get up and pot some violas and bake a casserole for my friends Amanda and Franklin to take home with them... very responsible of me, I know.

12:00 pm- I meet my mother-in-law, Mrs. Tommie, and her BFF, Mrs. Mary, and my sister-in-law (and bestie:), Julie at Mason's for the BEST SURPRISE EVER! I was going to help the girls pick out some cute duds but when we got there Mrs. Tommie said that Dr. Scott would buy Julie and I some new jeans! Isn't that the BEST?!

1:30 pm- I run by Bella Jacks to pick up a sussy (surprise) for baby David Franklin to snuggle in.

2:00 pm- I go to mom and dad's to have bloody marys with Bo, Claire, Mrs. Beth (Claire's mom), Britton, Holly, Coy, Mrs. Tommie, Dr. Scott, Mrs. Mary, Mr. Robert, Clark (Bo's buddy from Ole Miss), Charlie and Beth. We all slurp one down and then I collected the casseroles my mom and Claire made for Amanda and Franklin and we head to meet the baby!

3:30 pm- I met Mr. David Franklin! He started crying when I held him the first time and Mrs. Beth came to the rescue. I tried again and everything went perfectly! He fell asleep on my shoulder and his big cheek provided the perfect napping pillow... awwww.

4:30 pm- We head to tailgate! We got to spend time with our great friends the Magness' and the Moores.

6:00 pm- I don't want to talk about it...

10:30 pm- We finally get home and watch SNL and chat with Charlie and Beth! We miss them SO much!

12:00 am- We conk out.

Sunday

REST!... whew!

Molly those senior pics are too dang funny! I hate to see great ideas like this...cause I know I'll end up forcing innocent Irish people into taking their "senior pic"! Sounds like a great weekend though! Loved seeing the pics of the ville from above! Miss it! : )

Well, I can't take credit for the pictures... of ALL the times to forget your camera, I forgot mine when we have sunset tower view of Fayetteville in the fall. Go figure. These are Erica's pics. She also was responsible for the frame work, which I thought was hilarious too!
